Marissa has over a decade of divorce and family law experience. In addition to working for private family law firms in Boston and surrounding areas, Marissa was previously employed as a Sessions Clerk at the Middlesex Probate & Family Court, clerking for the Honorable Judge Jeffrey Abber. In this role, she ran daily court sessions and was the first point of contact in the courtroom for litigants and attorneys regarding court policies and procedure. This experience has given Marissa a unique perspective to each matter she handles.

Going through a divorce or family law related matter can be an extremely emotional time. Marissa takes the time to explain the process to her clients every step of the way, so that they can make informed decisions for their family and gain a true understanding of their rights or obligations.

Marissa takes pride in her representation of each client. Marissa handles each client personally, with a high attention to detail.  She appreciates the importance of each client having their unique story told.

Marissa is a 2012 graduate of Suffolk University Law School where she was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society.  She is a 2008 graduate of Bucknell University and a graduate of Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts.

Marissa is a certified Category F Guardian Ad Litem as well as a certified ARC (“Attorneys representing children”) Attorney.

Marissa is also a certified conciliator for the Massachusetts Probate Court and handles private conciliation matters.
